I have a variety of film equipment available for rental in NYC. I focus on super-16, but many of my items can also be used in digital productions. Pick up is within half a mile to the Myrtle-Wyckoff Station in Brooklyn which is accessible by both the L and M lines. Insurance is required. The Ultra 16s are the absolute pinnacle of super-16 imaging. These lenses, the very last developed by Zeiss for the format, are optically equivalent to Master Primes with the ergonomics of Ultra Primes. Nearly all of the most famous super-16 productions of the 21st century were shot with these lenses: Black Swan, Enter the Void, Blue Valentine, etc. A very rare set. I believe this might be the only 6mm on ShareGrid NYC!

The Canon 7-63mm is one of the very best zooms ever made for the super-16 format. It is the successor to the famous 8-64mm (often called the Hurt Locker lens after it was used to shoot the best picture winner). This lens improves on three fronts: the ergonomics are much friendlier in use, the lens can go wider (7mm), and it is sharper wide open.

SmallHD Ultra 5 Monitor
SmallHD's newest flagship 5-inch monitor. It beats out the 503 in brightness with 3000nits, and it has a much better color gamut (100% DCI-P3). It can be used via its touch screen or the four physical buttons and joystick (my preference). Comes with a Kondor Blue Magic Arm. One ball head has a 3/8" with ARRI-style anti-twist pins while the other is a quick release. The monitor has a quick release plate attached. All together, this is a simple and sturdy way of mounting the monitor on your camera.
