I got a mark of excellence! No, that doesn't mean I won anything, but I came close. I was one of around fifteen runner-ups. The winner received $10,150 and a Leica M Monochrome camera that goes for $8000 online. My dilemma is, do I rejoice that I was even considered, or do I pity myself for coming so close to the grand prize? I'm sticking with the first option because of the fact that I never expected to be a runner-up in their biggest competition.
